Starting today (Oct 15), I have been getting "Autodownload received an
invalid response" message at every autodownload attempt. No changes to
system made since yesterday, when all was working fine. Anyone else having
this problem? Server problems perhaps? Suggestions? Thanks.

Same problem here. I went to their web site and downloaded the new file-
5805.

Thanks for the quick response Wayne. Ditto here--- I went to their site and
updated to 5805 manually. Apparently they are having a problem with their
server.

I can't say that I did, gilbert.
Performed my update manually, even though it was set to auto download. Had
no problems at all with the Antivirus program.
The firewall didn't have any updates available.
Hope you find a solution for your problem.

Harry.

I had an error updating signature files, like you report. I went to the
site and
found I needed to update EZ/AV program. I forget the latest version number,
but updating the program did solve the signature update problem.
(www.my-etrust.com). You have to log in to do this update.

Well it appears that all is well again with the Autodownload function. I am
using Version 6.1.4.0 and did not want to update at this time. Apparently,
the server was having weekend problems, but now autodownload is working fine
again. Thanks to all who contributed.

I use 6.1.4 and autodownload gets 'query error' every time I have run it over
the past week including today. I opened a customer ticket 2 days ago with CA
and haven't received a response yet. I will download the update manually.

I am suprised they do not have a status page for this type of problem.

I now suspect that CA changed the licensing algorithm. My license was renewed
in April and had been using it till October when it stopped working. I went
to the site and took down the license number again and updated it on my EZ AV
and now I no longer get 'query errors';
