I have 2 computer, desk top and a note book. I use the same e-mail address
for both, but I will get some e-mails on the desk top and some on the note
book, don't understand why I don't get the same e-mails on both, I'm not
that computer smart so I don't know if I want to say my note book is what
they call wireless, for my desk top is hook right into the cable network.

You are posting to a "programming" newsgroup.
I am not sure what newsgroup you should use, but ill try to help you out a
bit.

When you "desktop" computer is getting emails, it is erasing it off the
"internet server" ( where your emails are stored ).
If your desktop computer happens to check for email "first" - prior to your
"notebook" then it will get
the email and then delete it off the "internet server". Thus, your
"notebook" computer never knows there
is an email waiting.

Your best solution, is to get your email provider to create a second
"incoming" email for you.
Lets say your current email is (e-mail address removed)

get them to create a (e-mail address removed)
then get them to "copy" every email sent to (e-mail address removed) to
(e-mail address removed)
on your notebook, make your recieving email you check (e-mail address removed) and
make your "reply to address" (just on your notebook) (e-mail address removed)

that way both computers are sending emails out of (e-mail address removed) but they
are each checking their own "copy" of the emails.

I hope that helps.
