E-mails within different useraccounts?

Hi,

I created an useraccount1 & and an useraccount2
Each group has his own e-mailadresses.

I thought when receiving a mail only the related e-mailadress in the
assigned useraccount would be able to receive the mail.

But during testing i dedected that the related e-mail was also received into
the useraccount where that e-mailadress is not assigned?

In the previous versions of MS one could work with identities so that e.g.
your son and youself could work on the same PC with each having his own
privacy.

I though using different useraccounts would help here?

Any advice?

What you are doing should work.
But apparently, you are accessing both email accounts from the same user
login account.
Login as Useraccount1 and remove user2's email account from Windows Mail.
Login as Useraccount2 and remove user1's email account from Windows Mail.

Hi,
Thanks for the interest.
I deleted the related e-mailaccounts in usergroup1
What i did was using Outlook Express in usergroup2 just for the fun, but i
suppose that cannot be the reason.

I even deleted the e-mailadress in usergroup2 and still the mail was
received on 1.
Of course i couldn't send any mail from it but receiving the mail is ok
(logical still on the server) but now i wondering myself how can the
difference be made between usergroup 1 & 2 because both could receive
them???

I though it was logical and simple but ....

Hi,
Thanks, i found the fault.
There was still one alias of the e-mailaccount existing in useraccount1 of
the 2 others i replaced.
Still strange for me that sending an e-mail to the other useraccount one
receives it in useraccount1 although not existing anymore just because and
alias from the other mailbox was still existing.

Nevertheless, problem solved ...thanks
