e-mails pasted in contacts notes feld will no longer open

I have always been able to cut and paste e-mails into my contacts notes field
and later open them by clicking on them. Suddenly this has stopped working
on my PC only. I can log on to any other computer on my network, access my
outlook and open them. HELP
 
Unistall Google Desktop search or disable its indexing of Outlook.

After furious head scratching, stlof asked:
