I have creayed a presentation with a wav fil which is causing the file to be
rather large. I have been unable to E-Mail the file or zip due to the file
being to large. Is there a way around this.

Thanks

You could convert the wave file to a mp3 file, which will be considerably
smaller than the wave file. Insert that into your presentation, and then try and
send it. The only downside to this, the mp3 file does not get embedded like the
wave file, and must also be sent with the presentation

You are going to have trouble as long is the sound is large because you
are going to have to email the sound embedded in the presentation or
separately from the presentation, but either way you are going to have to
email the sound. You might try converting the sound to another format
that is smaller than WAV. Alternatively, you could delete your sound, go
to Tools > Options and click on the General Tab. Set the "Link sounds
with file size greater than" to something small (it defaults to 100KB),
and that might be a good size for you. Then, reinsert your sound. It
will now be linked instead of embedded in the presentation. Be sure you
look at the information at "Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or
links break when I move or email a presentation" from the PPT FAQ:

Also, you might want to check out "Why are my PowerPoint files so big?
What can I do about it?"

Good luck.
