I have tried using the E-mail feature to send an e-mail to contacts so they
may fill out a form and have it posted back into Access. However, when I
click on the "creat e-mail" buttin in Access, I get the following error
message.

* Microsoft Office Outlook could not be started. Make sure Outlook is
installed and properly set up on your computer*

I uses Outlook on a daily basis and I am assusred that it is set up and
working properly. It is the 2007 version. I have tried this while Outlook
and Access are both running, then I tried again, with outlook not running.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Cheryl,

Let's start from the beginning...

1. Access forms cannot be eMailed, filled out and returned. The form is
simply the windows to the tables that actually contain the data.

2. Have you simply opened Microsoft Outlook, not Outlook Express and sent a
message? What happens when you do that? (You indicated you used it but not
that you actually sent and eMail, using it could mean a number of things)

3. Have you checked you References to make sure there are none marked
*MISSING*

Doug,

Okay... I see the *form* is not actually created in Access, the form is
created in Outlook which is connected to your table in Access. I have not
used that feature so thanks for the link!

Sorry to argue, Gina, but Access 2007 has the ability to e-mail forms as a
mechanism to capture data.

That's correct. Unfortunately, I haven't used the feature either, so I can't
help the OP.

Doug,

Well, now waiting to hear back from OP to see if her eMail is set in
Outlook, if it is then I guess I get to *play* with that feature and see if
I can figure that out! Don't want to leave her stuck...
