When I download an attachment either Word or Excel opens, but I get an error message saying: The file cannot be found. This just started a couple of weeks ago. I have downloaded the latest versions of Internet Explorer and the service packs and installed them, but this has not fixed the problem. I have reviewed all of the help and knowledge base information and can find nothing. Where should I start?
 
Open explorer...

tools>internet options

Should be on the "General" tab. In the middle are some buttons, the middle
one clears temporary internet files. Try this and see if it helps. If it
does you may want to go back there later and adjust the temp files
storage... mine is about 450 Mb but to be honest this machine never seems to
have trouble whatever it's set at...

Just watch what happens now I've said that...
