It says I do noe have any accounts configqured for sending e-mail .Please
verify your account configuration

Gary has already asked you what program you are using. That is information
anyone needs to help you. Windows Mail, Windows Live Mail and Windows Live
Hotmail are three different things.
 
What was wrong with OE6? It worked. It worked extremely well up until last
Sunday when I decided "surely, MS has enough bugs out of Vista that I may
purchase a new computer secure in the knowledge it will not fail me. RIGHT!!

The biggest thing wrong with OE 6 is the way it stores messages. The OE6
DBX files are very fragile and prone to corruption. WinMail stores each
message as a separate file
 
Well I would say that fragile mail is better than no mail. And judging from
the number of posts there appears to be a fairly large contingent of users
with no mail. As well as the issue of incompatibility with protection
software. If my computer gets a virus isn't the most likely source from
e-mail?

"Email scanning" is a total rip-off that offers no protection not offered by
any decent resident virus scanner with email scanning turned off.
