Bill

I am running Windows 2000 with all of the "critical
updates" installed and using 2003 Outlook Express.

When I try to open or reply to an e-mail message I have
just started getting the following:
Your security settings prohibit running activex controls
on this page. As a result, the page may not display
properly.
How to I keep from getting the message and have my e-mail
simply open and allow me to reply?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

In Outlook Express use tools/options/security and select the internet zone instead of
restricted zone to use as your default zone for Outlook Express though that will
reduce your security for email. Be sure to use a virus scanner on your computer that
also scans all emails. --- Steve

Your solution worked perfectly. Thanks
