Got new PC in August.
Did Easy Transfer to get contacts/e-mails into OL 07. Worked fine.
PC crashed 2 weeks ago.
Got new Main Hard Drive (running 2nd RAID drive)
Manually imported .pst files into OL 07 from non-fried RAID drive.
E-mail addresses from address book "hang" in outbox going nowhere.
Manually typed in ones go fine.

Please describe in lay-terms the steps I need to take to rememdy this
problem Thanks a bunch.

Amy :)

You never use Easy Transfer with Outlook.
You never import Outlook data files.
You open Outlook files in Outlook. Instructions to follow:
1. File > Open > Outlook Data File...

Don't delete anything. Don't import anything. Your easiest approach might
be to create a new mail profile and reuse your existing, original PST.

the habit of creating backups.

Well, I though it was taken care of, but when I went to send a message
to several ppl in my address book, the message still got "stuck" in
the outbox and the little "mail" icon in my lower right system tray
was blinking over and over as if it was trying to send over and over
again. Any ideas for this, besdies what we have tried already?

Try this. Display your contacts in a phone list view. Select all and drag to your inbox. A new mail message will be created with all of your contacts email addresses. Again, select all in the To field and then press Alt+K to resolve them all. Close the message and do not save.

Now try to send a new mail message.

Nope...didn't work either. Still stuck and still doing the crazy
blinking action.

When I type in my addresses manually in the TO field t however many
recipients, it's fine. It's only when I try to access the address
book feature that this happens.

Any other ideas? Thanks for your help...

It seems apparent that you have something misconfigured, but there's no way
for us to tell exactly what that might be without being able to see your PC.
The only remaining advice is to "start over and be VERY careful to enter the
correct data."
