E-Mail shows attachment-but there are no attachments

Recently many emails now have a paper clip indicating an attchment-but there
is not an attachment. Many of these e-mails were previously received with no
paperclip but now they have paperclips indicating attchments. Using vista
and windows mail. AVG anti virus.

AVG causes this when its email scanning is turned on.

Good to know. Another reason why scanning is bad.
Altering an email without permission should be a federal crime.
That's like tampering with snail mail.
