I am not a computer person and need specific help on setting up my email
again. I had to take my computer into the shop and when I got it back my
email was in Windows Live. I'm learning to use it, but it's not what I want
- I want my old email back with the butterfly. I need step by step
instructions on how to set up my Windows mail since I've been told the other
that I had - I cannot have any longer. How do I get all of my addresses
back? What a mess!!!!

If you haven't already done so, download and install Windows Live Mail:
http://download.live.com/wlmail

The first time it runs, it will prompt you to enter your email address.
Enter your MSN email address. It will take care of the rest.

Either reinstall the MSN software or...

Use the Configuration Settings on this page to set up your name[AT]msn.com
account in Windows Mail:
http://mailcall.spaces.live.com/Blog/cns!CC9301187A51FE33!49799.entry

NB: Set Outgoing server (SMTP) to Port 587, not Port 25!

Windows Mail's new account wizard is hard-coded to reject (e-mail address removed)
and (e-mail address removed) addresses. When you enter your email address during setup,
use a dummy one (e.g., (e-mail address removed)). After you've finished, go back
and change the email address to the correct one.

If you paid the people to fix your computer, they should not mess it up.
They should fix it. If they won't or can't then you should find a more
competent shop.
