Assuming that you know your login and password (which I am sure that you
do)--to configure a RR email account:
Open Outlook Express--Click on Tools>Accounts
When the window opens, click on the Mail Tab. Click on Add: Email account.
Add your name in the first window. Click next
Add your email address in the second window (e-mail address removed) Click
next
The next part could possibly be wrong. I worked for stny.rr.com for 5
years, but the incoming and outgoing mail servers aren't online. I looked.
If these next two settings don't work, call RR and get the correct ones.
Choose POP3 for type of email server.
Incoming mail server-- pop3.triad.rr.com (This you MIGHT have to check with
RR)
Outgoing mail server-- smtp.triad.rr.com (This you MIGHT have to check with
RR)
Click Next:
user name --Your login--dont put @triad.rr.com in here
password--your password
Click next then click finish.
