e-mail saved resume

i want to be sure the resume i have saved in Word is readable after it has
been e-mailed. i don't know about rich text vs. standard and e-mail. help.

Save it as plain text. Open it in Notepad and check the alignment. paste the
content into your e-mail message. That way it may even be read!

Otherwise save it as a PDF and attach it (you'll need some third party
software to create the PDF)

I always have three versions of my current resume. One is a word doc, one is
a .pdf, and the last is a plain text. Ya never know what a prospective
employer is going to ask for.
