e-mail pictures

I recently changed ISP from AOL to Cox high speed. Now when I use My Pictures to "e-mail this picture" nothing happens. Previously, in AOL, when I clicked on "e-mail this picture," it would ask me if I wanted to change the size of the picture & I would click yes. Then it would cause a new AOL e-mail document to open with the picture already attached to the new e-mail. Why can't I do this with Cox high speed & Outlook Express? (I have talked to Cox support & they say all my settings are correct & advised me to contact Microsoft.

Thanks

Sounds like you are now using Outlook Express to do email.
That's fine. Open your browser (IE) and click on Tools ,
Internet Options, Programs. Make sure Outlook Express is
listed as your email program. When you view a picture,
right click on it and select Email Picture. It should open
an Outlook express email with the picture already attached.

In Outlook Express, Tools/options/General/Default messaging programs, Make
Outlook Express Default Mail Handler if not allready so.

Thanks Tony & anonymous. I checked the tools/options/General/default in Outlook Express and I verified that OE is default. I also checked the browser settings & verified that OE is the listed email program.

Actually, I had done this before I posted the question, but I verified it again after reading your postings. NO LUCK. I still get no email document with the picture attached as before.

Is it possible my AOL program, which was not removed after I switched ISPs, is somehow blocking this action?

I'm stumped. Thanks for your help.
