e-mail on second laptop

I have a laptop which is connected to my home computer and internet access
is via a D-LINK ROUTER.I.am connected to internet on laptop but for some
reson I cannot get an e-mail address i need step by step detaild on how to
set this up

There's nothing extra that you need to do. You are you, no matter what
computer you're working from. Unless you want an additional email address,
just use the same credentials on the laptop that were used on your other
"home computer."

If using webmail, no extra steps are needed.

If using POP3 and you don't remember how you did this on the other
computer, visit your ISP's support area online and look up "Email" or
"Email Settings." While the steps to setting up are the same in general,
there is info needed that is specific to your ISP. The ISP's support will
tell you exactly how that info needs to be entered to successfully connect
to their mail servers.
