I'm have received several times e-mail as hereafter:
from : microsoft
subject: Use this patch immediately!


Is this a message from Microsot? should i open it?
would appreciate a quick answer!
 
I received about 10 of the same message. Do not open the
attachment. Mine was deleted automatically by our
corporate email servers. They may look like MS emails,
but Microsoft never sends .exe's out in the mail. That
would be against the built in security of Outlook and
Outook Express.

Someone must have gotten my email address from these
newsgroups though, because yesterday was the first time I
posted a question.

No, Microsoft is not sending this virus-ridden e-mail. Create a rule in
your e-mail client to permanently delete it (and, if using Outlook,
compact your PST file occasionally since deleted items are still
physically in the PST file until purged by compaction).
