E Mail Link

I have an organization roster file which includes a listing of E Mail
addresses. When I enter an address, it normally displays as a link in blue.
If I click on it, the message window opens. Lately, my additions do not
display as links. How can I change this.

Is it a display problem--the links still work, but the formatting isn't pretty?

If yes, select that troublesome range and
format|style|and choose hyperlink

Hi Bernie,
The opposite of setting from:
For those with Excel XL (Excel 2002) you can suppress hyperlink
generation under the Auto Correct from the Tools menu.
Tools (menu), Autocorrect Options, Autoformat as you type (Tab).

Actually as implied in Dave Pertson's reply you didn't indicate
whether existing and/or new hyperlinks do not work, or if it is
strictly a display problem of not showing underlined blue but do work.
