Hi all,

I have a problem. Problem is that I have somebody sending me an e-mail
using Lotus Notes in plain text. He can send it ok and encrypts and
signs with the correct certificates.

When I try to open it using again the correct certificates it comes up
being jumbled. I am using Exchange 2003 with Outlook 2003 but I am set
up to receive HTML e-mails.

The explaination I have been given is that the exchange server is
trying to convert the e-mail to HTML and therefore corrupts the e-mail.

Has anybody had a simliar issue?

Jumbled how?

Exchange doesn't try to change plain text to HTML, as far as I know.

The e-mail is opened up ok without any errors but the text is as if it
is still encrypted.

Looking through the mail headers it seems that exchange tries to change
it. I will obtain what I received and post it on here shortly.

Here is the log

Now it is sent as text, so why is it converting it or showing the
content-type as text/html

Dont worry, I got bogus trouble shooting information from a particular
government department.
