I've had my computer for only two weeks, and was using the free (with ads)
version of Eudora for e-mail. Tonight it had been working fine. I went to
start it again to get some info from an e-mail, and an error box appeared.
It said something about the Table Of Contents, and did I want to repair it
or use the old TOC. I couldn't actually read the box because immediately
after that another box appeared on top asking if I wanted to send an error
report. No matter what I chose, Send or Don't Send, the box kept appearing.
The whole time the Eudora splash screen would reappear, then the Eudora
error box would pop up immediately followed by the Send/Don't Send error
box. I uninstalled Eudora and reinstalled but it keeps happening.

I finally gave up and set up the awful e-mail program that came with
Earthlink. Is there any way I can completely get rid of Eudora and all of
its contents so I can reinstall? Since the TOC error box appears even after
reinstalling, I know that my mailboxes and mail are still on my computer
somewhere but I can't find out where and it's very frustrating!

You can get rid of the error reporting windows by turning off error
reporting for programs. To do this, open System properties. On the Advanced
page, click the button titled "Error Reporting." On the next screen that
appears, uncheck the box next to "Programs" -or- click the "Choose
Programs" button and use the next screen to exclude Eudora from error
reporting.
