I've had my computer for only two weeks, and was using the free (with ads)
version of Eudora for e-mail. Tonight it had been working fine. I went to
start it again to get some info from an e-mail, and an error box appeared.
It said something about the Table Of Contents, and did I want to repair it
or use the old TOC. I couldn't actually read the box because immediately
after that another box appeared on top asking if I wanted to send an error
report. No matter what I chose, Send or Don't Send, the box kept appearing.
The whole time the Eudora splash screen would reappear, then the Eudora
error box would pop up immediately followed by the Send/Don't Send error
box. I uninstalled Eudora and reinstalled but it keeps happening.
I finally gave up and set up the awful e-mail program that came with
Earthlink. Is there any way I can completely get rid of Eudora and all of
its contents so I can reinstall? Since the TOC error box appears even after
reinstalling, I know that my mailboxes and mail are still on my computer
somewhere but I can't find out where and it's very frustrating!
