E-mail Contacts disappeared

My email is in regard to: MSN Messenger, Windows Live and Hotmail.

All of my contacts Disappeared and I do not know what to do

I contacted Microsoft but with little success

If you log in to Hotmail is your web contact list empty? If so, the contacts have been removed from the remote store (not your own PC) and it's unlikely you will be able to get these back, unless you e-mail MS/Hotmail support and they keep backups.

What did MS say to you when you contacted them?

Has your e-mail account been tampered with in any other way? As it could be that someone has gained access to your password and removed your contacts (or a rogue application). I would make sure your PC is virus free and then log in and change your hotmail/MSN password to something new, just in case.
