When I include an e-mail address in a simple select query,
the output is fine and I can fire up Outlook (my mail
default) by clicking on the address.
However, when I then export the same data to Excel or
Word, the e-mail address appears with a # delimiter on
each end, i.e., instead of getting
(e-mail address removed), I get #[email protected]#
which obviously leads to an undeliverable message. It
looks like the e-mail address is coming through as text.
How can I suppress these delimiters or force the field to
be recognised as a true e-mail address?
Thanks,
John
