I have two desktop computers connected via a router. One of the computers
is, and has been used for e-mail and utilizes Outlook and has been configured
to recieve/send mail. I have had no problems with this for a long time but
now would like to configure the second computer (Outlook) to also
capture/send e-mail. After configuring Outlook on the second computer using
identical parameters that work on the first computer I get an error message
stating that there is a problem with the e-mail address field. I have
checked this and am sure the e-mail address field is accurate. When testing
the parameters, there is no problem with finding either the incoming or
outgoing server and in fact I can receive e-mail but cannot send as a result
of the e-mail address field error. Any suggestions on what might be causing
this and how to correct this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt
