I can't find a way to do this. I want an association to
plug my slide in her presentation. When I try to e-mail,
it wants to send my whole presentation. Can it be done?

Thanks.

Easiest way, is to delete all the slides except the one you want to send, save
the presentation with a new name, then attach to email and send

PowerPoint does not have an export command that would pluck out just one
slide as its own PPT file, but you could do this:

1. Save your file, to make sure that it is completely up to date.

2. Perform a Save As command and enter a name that would be appropriate to
your emailing task.

3. Enter Slide Sorter view and remove all slides except the desired one.

4. Now perform the Send To command, or head to your email client and do a
standard attachment.

'Save selection As ...' is one of the options on the add-in toolbar.

It is an easy way to save slides from within a presentation, to a new file.

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

PowerPoint doesn't provide the functionality that you are looking for,
out-of-the-box and, instead, would require manually creating of single
slide presentation or using VBA or an add-in.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that it's important that
PowerPoint provide this kind of functionality, don't forget to send your
feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
