e-Commerce Add-In

The e-Commerce Add-In is a tool used with MS Commerce Manager to upload your
product catalog into your site instead of having customers click a product
link and go to the database itself. Uploading to your web site puts it on
your disk directly and presumably will work faster. This is what Commerce
Manager folks have suggested for optimizing my wait time for shoppers.

The problem I am having is Commerce Manager is giving me an error message
that it is unable to retrieve the data from the user, which is me. It
provides a link to sign in but this does not help. I followed the
instructions to have no templates open in FrontPage (2002) and I have the
latest version of the Wizard. I have used this before so it has worked. The
help techs could not provide an answer, they suggested disabling my virus
protection. I did this to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am experiencing the same problem with the wizard. I go to download my
products but get an error message saying that it cannot connect to the
bcentral server.

I have contacted MS about this. I have had an open ticket with tier 2 tech
support for over 2 weeks. No solution has been provided. I was also told to
try disabling my firewall, but that did not work either.

I am extremely fustrated. My business is losing money each day I am unable
to publish my new website.

Have you received any new information about this problem?
