DynDNS name/port redirection

I get a page cannot be displayed when going to the IP addy
too. It does work from inside the LAN...tired of me yet ?
 
Thanks Bill, thats the one I was betting on, too bad it
wasn't the lottery. Next question (just asked in another
post sorry)was can I not go from my LAN thru the 'Net and
back into my RDWC equipped PC ? for testing ya' know ?

You probably can't--routers differ about how they handle this kind of
access--and most get it wrong.

Got anything with a modem in it you can dial out with, and then come back in
properly?
 
One caveat: You need to edit the default.html file in the
C:\Windows\Web\<insert name of your client, either tsweb or tsac> to
reference the new port number for Remote Desktop...

Good point--I do the port 80 change (verizon), but I don't have a
non-standard RDP port, so I don't think about that detail.
