Dynamic Web Templates - using or not to use

I am an average FP user and have never used Dynamic Web Templates.

1) All things being equal is it better for someone like me to buy a FP
template with DWT or without DWT?

2) Is DWT exclusive to FP or do other programs use it.?

3) Do DWT's require FP extenstions or are they independent of the FP
extensions. The reason I ask is that I know Microsoft Expression Web Designer
will not be using FP extensions.

4) Will Expression Web Designer support DWT?

Thank you

In my opinion, with DWT. But it depends on the template...

DWTs are used by FrontPage 2003, MS Sharepoint Designer 2007, Expressions
Web Designer, and Dreamweaver

DWTs are independant of the FP extensions. But, if you edit webs directly
on a server the server must have FP extensions in order to use the DWT
update functions easily.
4) Will Expression Web Designer support DWT?

Yes - fully.
