Dear all,
We have a forward lookup zone for AD. I have made it to allow "non-secure
and secure" for dynamic update.
However, I found that a win2000 server is unable to register itself on the
zone file while all other workstations doesn't meet this problem.
Would you mind to teach me where goes wrong? Thank you... ^___^
DNS infrastructure:
- Non "AD integrated zone"
- Two DNS servers (Primary + Secondary) and both of them are Windows server
2003
Windows 2000 server:
- Joined to the AD (DNS is pointed to the DNS of course)
- Computer suffix is changed on "System Properties"
Workstations:
- Joined to the AD
- Obtain the IP Address via DHCP.
