Hi,
This may depend on your Office Version.
Go to Excel, Data| import External Data| Import Data.
You should have some sources listed, at least under Excel 2003. These are
all "Microsoft Office Excel Web Query Files".
Or you can set up a data source. Anyway, if I select a MSN Money one, I can
setup the stocks I want and put them in Excel. Then copy and paste link the
cells I want into PowerPoint. So, Excel does the work and PowerPoint shows
the results.
Now, you will have to muck with it to get what you want. Beyond that, there
is a trap you need to be aware of, and that is updating pages manually. You
will be in slideshow mode and wonder, is the Excel data updated? Is the
PowerPoint version of the Excel data updated? But the beauty is that you can
customise it for particular stocks.
