Dynamic disk question

i've looked thru a bunch of help and kb articles and can't really find a
solid answer to this question. if i have 80G and 40G HDs, could i convert
them to striped dynamic disks/volumes and use the extra 40G as say, a
different volume? it looks to me so far that if i striped these 2 disks i'd
only be able to use 40G. just wanted to see if the extra space could be used
as a different colume. thanks!

Sorry, you would lose the extra 40 GB.
