dx won't work HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's the error? What error message are you getting in Control
Panel/Administrative Tools/Event Viewer when you click on Application in the
left panel? This will reveal events in the right pane where you can
right-click error messages and view a portion of them. Most of the time, it
is a driver problem where you need to download and install the latest driver
from the manufacturer's web site.

Probably in an update or downloads section. I don't know because you
haven't furnished any information regarding what graphics card you've got.
You can use www.google.com to find the location of the card manufacturer
once you figure out which one you've got. Or look in the documentation
which came with your system.

I still think you've got a basic problem of not having Cryptographic
Services enabled and running, since you can't install a program. Do as I
previously described, please. And keep the posts to this thread. This is
not a chat board, but a public newsgroup where everything runs by threads.
