Dear Sir/Madam:

My system crashed. I reformated and reinstalled all software. However,
later on I noticed that I was getting an error upon shutdown.

The error upon shutdown has to do with the file "DWWIN.EXE". Something to
do with Doctor Watson....

Does anyone know how I can fix this issue? Any assistance would be greatly
appreciated.

Regards,

John

dwwin.exe is the "Microsoft Application Error Reporting" tool. (yes it is
DrWatson)

There is a program you are running that is crashing during system shutdown.
When the crash occurs Windows launches dwwin.exe to report the error but,
because Windows is shutting down the application can't launch.

You need to figure out what application is actually crashing at shutdown.

Look in the event log: Administrative Tools/Event Viewer or
Start/Run/eventvwr.

Review Shutdown Event Tracker data, Open Event Viewer. Click System Log,
scroll to the Event column, and find entries with the number 1075

Thank you! Martmcd.
