When closing I get a message the aplication failed t
initalize because the window station is shutting down.
downloaded MsXP updates to no avail. any help appreciated
 
This DWWIN.EXE is Windows Error Reporting. If you type
that into your search you'll find it, in any case it
looks like they did a "Windows XP Hotfix - KB821253" that
you probably loaded in Service pack 1. Go to your
add/Remove Programs remove it reinstall see what happens.
