DWT - background Color not "sticking" to all Pages

Created a .dwt and modified the BG color to something. I then "updated all
attached pages" ... After the Update completed, the color change doesn't
make it to any of the pages.

This Web Site is on my Local Machine. Is this a restriction in FP2003? If I
"publish" the site, will the BG Color magically be there on the target site?

If working in a local disc based web FP should update all pages using the DWT to apply the new color and you should see it in any
affected pages
If working in a local server based web FP may not update the pages unless you have the patch that fixes the FP SE for DWT for your
OS

You can also open (or just select) all your affected pages and use Apply DWT
- it will not appear when you publish if it does not appear locally

Just wanted to document the outcomes (fix) for this issue in case someone
searches on a similar issue.

I had renamed a current (working) Index.htm file to Index.dwt in hopes to
make it my new template. By doing so, I seemed to have been missing a key
METATAG .. which was obvious when I compared Code from this one to a
newly-created template. All did to fix this was copy/paste 2 lines of missing
METATAG lines from a template that worked into this one that previously did
not. Lesson learned: Create these .DWT templates from scratch .... or things
can get a bit screwy.
