Dwnload IE on MS 98 unit and try to install on XP

I am trying to update my IE... I downloaded it thru Win98
machine and when I try to install the IE sw on the XP
machine it is asking for file that I don't have
 
WinXP comes with IE6, possibly IE6-SP1(a), installed, depending on when it
was produced.

Why are you trying to install IE on WinXP, David?
