My DVR feeds HDMI to a a DLP projector, which works fine at night, which is the only time I use it. But the image is too faint during the day and that makes it nearly impossible for me to program it for future recording.
What I'd like to do is be able to feed the image to my laptop (Vaio K37) , which is right next to the DVR, just to be able to program the DVR in daylight.
"
I bought a composite/component to USB device,"EZCap", which came with Ulead lite capture software, but it doesn't let me see an image from the DVR realtime.
I have Nero 6 (could upgrade if needed).
If anyone knows how to feed the output (composite, component or Svideo) to a laptop, I'd be most grateful for advice or assistance.
