Hello,

I would like to know what is required to play the DVR-MS recorded TV shows
on the media player applications which uses DirectX on XPe based machine. I
have seen an update for the XP non-embedded but could not find any updates
for the XPe.

I don't think that update (XP Pro update for enabling DVR-MS files in WMP) has been ever componentized for XPe.
You would probably want to do that yourself or install it at runtime if all required dependencies are in.

(I used that update on my XPe XPProEmulation images and it worked just fine)
