Greetings!

I do a lot of photographic work and I'm contemplating replacing my 15"
Viewsonic LCD with something bigger, and with higher performance. My nvidia
Ti4680/8X/128Meg video card supports a DVI connection, so I'm wondering if I
should be looking for a monitor that supports this also? Is DVI a
"no-brainer", is digital is always better??

Thanks,
Ray

Try to find a review as on tomshardware.com.

dvi is usually better, but one monitor they reviewed was not so good on dvi
and ok on analog.

DVI is a "no brainer." You avoid a digital to analog to digital processing
of the video signal.

Thanks Dave, I just ordered a Viewsonic VP171B, it has some good reviews on
the web!
