DVI Compatibility(ASUS GeForce 6600 Graphics Problem)

Hi everyone,
following on from my previous posting on the 18th another issue to resolve.
My TFT Monitor is DVI-D, whereas the graphics card
(EN6600SILENCER/TD/256/M/A) and according to the ASUS website is DVI-I.
Could this be causing compatibility issues and the reason why my DVI
connection will not function?
Any help greatly appreciated.

No, DVI-D only lacks the pins used for analog (DVI-I is
capable of both analog and digital) and that is not your
problem, it is compatible.
