Hello,

Based on some research, this problem occurs when you burn a DVD in Vista by
using the "Universal Disk Format" (UDF) format. UDF format is a new disk
format which is supported in Vista and Windows Server 2008.

When you burn a DVD within Windows Vista, the default format is Universal
Disk Format (UDF) version 2.50. This version of UDF is not supported on
Windows XP. So, please check if you had made the correct choice when you
burn this disk.

Usually, you should format the disc by using version 2.01 before writing
data on it.

Please take a look at this post, I hope it works for you.
