Is there any freeware like DVD Shrink that will split a DVD9 into 2 DVD5
disks., without loss of quality?
I know Shrink will reduce the size as I've just shrunk a Lord of the
Rings DVD9 (Extended Edition) but it is down to 50% of the original, but
I would prefer to split into 2 disks.

Hi Rosie

From my "not yet uploaded"list...

With the use of another freeware utility Ifoedit
http://www.dvdr-digest.com/software/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=7

and DVDImageTool
http://www.dvdr-digest.com/software/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=14

....and DVDShrink this can be accomplished. Instuctions HERE:

Thanks Son of Spy. I've now got the programs and the instructions so let

It looks like I lost this battle after all. The tutorial refers to an
earlier version of IfoEdit and I got lost trying to work out the way to
use the latest version, so it looks like too much hassle for me.
Something like DVD Clone will do the trick in one swell foop but its not
freeware.
Sigh!
