i have installed a sony dvd rw =-rw/=-r/cd drive, nothing is happening, it does not show up as installed the only thing that happens is that the draw opens and closes
If DVD drive does not show up on the My Computer, then to correct this
problem, download and install a tiny patch from the following URL. This
would delete upper and lower filters from registry: http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts/xp_cd_dvd_fix.vbs
Usage: Download file to your computer and simply
double-click it so that it would automatically get
installed. Norton anti-virus software might warn you of
a "malicious" script, this is normal if you have "Script
Safe" or similar technology enabled.
I recommend you to choose "Authorize entire script" option next Action.
