Since installing Windows SP2, DVD X Copy Platinum program will not work when
I try to use it to copy a disc I get a message saying Tristana Exception
Occurred? its a program that I have always had to be online to be able to use
but now even when online it will not allow me to use it. If I roll back my
pc using system restore to a date prior to installing SP2 it works fine. I
have switched off the pop up blocker and the firewall but still it will not
work is there something else that could be stopping it from working I can
turn off on a temorary basis???

DVD X Copy uses a burning program called gearsec.exe for the burning of
dvd's as of now gearsec.exe is not compatable with SP2, and since 321
studio's is under a court order not to provide any support for this product I
wouldn't expect an update for it.

A great alternative for DVD X Copy is DVD shrink which I happen to like
better anyway,it also happens to be free.Give it a try.

If you plan to continue to use X copy do not remove it and attempt to
reinstall the program, you WILL NOT be able to complete the online activation
it requires, 321 studio's has stopped this support.
