Welcome, It might be dead? Bad cable?

Try the drive in another machine or try a different drive in your machine would be my 1st steps. DVD drives are cheap as chips.

no dude, but the DVD drive working perfect in windows 7, XP

i thought the DVD driver not working in windows 10. Microsoft should release the compatible drives.

Supporting :-

Operating System
Windows 7 Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional, Ultimate Edition
Windows Vista Home Basic, Home Premium, Ultimate Edition
Windows XP Home, Professional, Media Center Edition

Hmmm, that's a bugger. Well as I said given that DVD drives are peanuts these days I'd just grad a new one, is this a desktop or a laptop?

... use Windows Compatibility Mode, set it to Win7

right-click the drive and go from there.
