I have a 4x speed DVD writer. Probabely after using a batch of dvd's of a
lesser quality my computer decided that my dvd-player was only a 2.4x.
Ever since I cannot reset the speed of my DVD-writer as recognised by my
computer to the original 4x.
Sollutions anyone ?

What software do you use to burn DVDs? Since XP does not have the
capability of burning DVDs, whatever program you're using is in charge of
determining optimal burn speed for your drive. Usually you can go into the
settings of the program and select a different burn speed. Or thre is a
tool incuded with the software that can be used to reassess the burner's
abilities.
