Hi,
I build up a system with vista business (oem) and everything was ok until
the client install an Epson.. printer, Since then, the DVD writer and DVD rom
lost their "letter" and disappear from "computer". I can see them in device
manager with a yellow ! but can't install the driver/code 39), So I
uninstall the printer, nothing change.
So I got into newsgroup and find the KB 320553 that explain to keep DVD
writer alone with his ide cable so I did that and uninstall the dvd rom...no
change
So I delete the INFCACHE.1 file ,like I saw in another post and... no
change. So I can't try the firmware that was on manufacturer site cause it
don't see the device...
So here's the system and hope somebody knows something cause I'm getting
pretty frustrated
Motheboard: Asus P5B green
CPU :Intel Core2 E6400, 2.13 Ghz, 1066 Mhz FSB, 2 mb Le Cache.
Memory: 2G DDR
video card: Asus pci express Extrem AX550, 256 mb ddr
DVD writer: Lg Multi 18x dl GSA-H50N
DVD rom : Lg GSA-8164B
Vista Business 32
Thanks
