dvd won't burn

w/media player says no burner installed. burner plays, software up to date,
says it is okay. what could be hooked up wrong? Worked perfect till I had
Bestbuy replace harddrive under warranty. bought new sony dvd player and
burner, still don"t work. Also at the same time Audigy sound card, which
work great before, when installing software, cp said no audigy card in cp,
have sound only on 2 speakers. Didn't carry back to Bestbuy because I didn't
trust them anymore. riverfloater
 
WMP does not come with the ability to burn DVDs, only CDs.

You need separate software: Nero, Roxio, etc.
