Folks:
I have a Dell desktop computer & a Toshiba LapTop.
My Dell desktop has a Optical DVD-ROM (OptiPlex - GX620)
The LapTop has a regular DVD -R/RW player.
I have some DVD disks and only the Optical DVD-ROM can read/play the content
of these DVD disks.
The LapTop does not even know that the DVD disks are already formatted. It
wants to format them - YES or NO.
* Is there a way for me to UPGRADE the DVD player on the LapTop (with
software, perhaps) so that it will
recognize/play my DVD disks just like the DVD-ROM on the Dell
desktop is able to do ?
* Or do I have to replace the current DVD -R/RW (on the LapTop) with
an optical drive ?
Thanks,
Jo.
