I am looking for DVD templates (preferably black and white) to use with
Canon CD-LabelPrint and PiXMA MP500. Does anyone know if there are any
available for free download?

I'd like one that allows you to print closer to the hub...

If you used most any typical desktop publishing program you'd have no
limitations. I use Serif PagePlus and can print right through the hub if
I chose to - and have, when I made my original setup to find dead center
of the disc. Naturally, I had to make my own template. But it's not
rocket science, just trial and error.

Near as i'm aware, printing closer to the hub is not an option for the
canon CD label print nor EZ-photo print, 118mm is the max.

Acoustica "can" go 118mm and beyond without problem. DVD is covered
though i've not used that feature, I don't know the ease of jumping
from standard long box to thinpacks.

That's easily done. Go to Paper Selection/CD Label Print and click on
New. You can set the inner diameter to any value down to 17mm. But
take care to stay well within the printable area, else you could spray
ink all over the inside of the drive when you play the disc.

Yes it is, if you mean closer than 33mm diameter. See my other message
in this thread.

Stupid me, I was thinking outer edge, not hub, though the word said
hub.

But yes, CD-label print can print closer to the hub. The max diameter
is 118mm though, which is just shy of Verbatim's and Taiyo Yuden's
119mm outer edge.

Duh. Thought you were limited to the canned formats. Thank you...

Back to the original question, does anyone know where to find some
ready black and white DVD templates to use? None of the programs above
come with good templates.
