My PC wont let me play DVD's via my DVD player. It keep scoming up with a
screen saying DVD decoder is invalid. Where can I get a new DVD playing
software from.

It would help if you said what software you're using.
It would appear that you don't have a DVD decoder card. Look in your
configuration screens for "use hardware acceleration" or similar. Un-check
it.
 
I am using XP and I've built my first system. The DVD drive is rather old (4
years) but works fine. Windows keeps prompting me to download one off the net
as I havent got a decoder according to it. But ive downloaded it and it wont
let me install it as it says it cannot find any ATI products on this machine.
The ATI DVD Player is what woindows automatically takes me too to download! Can
anyone get me out of this mess....I cant play my DVD's!!!!
 
I have tried the site mentioned but how do I download without paying for it!
And can I download any DVD playing software or does it have to be specific to
my DVD player and graphics card???
